Community Health Nursing Posting CHC & PHC
As part of the B.Sc. Nursing 7th Semester curriculum, students undergo a Community Health Nursing posting at Community Health Centres (CHCs) and Primary Health Centres (PHCs). This clinical posting provides hands-on experience in primary healthcare delivery and community-based nursing practice.\r\n\r\nUnder the guidance of healthcare professionals, students participate in preventive, promotive, curative, and rehabilitative health services, including maternal and child health, immunization, family welfare, outpatient care, and national health programmes. They also conduct Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) and community health education programmes using various Educational and Communication Techniques (ECTs) to promote health awareness, disease prevention, and overall community well-being.
Field Visit to Water Filter Plant, Bhatagaon
The B.Sc. Nursing 1st Semester students of the College of Nursing, Modern Medical Institute, Raipur, participated in an educational field visit to the Water Filter Plant located at Bhatagaon. The visit was organized with the objective of enhancing students\' understanding of safe water treatment, purification processes, and the importance of clean drinking water in maintaining public health.
Mandatory Modules As per the INC Norms April 2026
The College of Nursing, Modern Medical Institute, Raipur, conducted the Mandatory Modules as prescribed under the Indian Nursing Council (INC) curriculum in collaboration with Vidyanta Skills Institute, New Delhi. These modules were organized to enhance students\' theoretical knowledge, clinical competence, and hands-on practical skills through simulation-based training and skill laboratory sessions. Vidyanta\'s mandatory module program follows a blended learning approach consisting of online theory learning, hands-on practical training, and competency assessment.
Exposure to TNAI – Educational Trip on 22nd January 2026. B.Sc Nursing 6th Semester (Batch 2021-2025)
An educational visit to the Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI), New Delhi was organized on 22nd January 2026 for the B.Sc Nursing 6th Semester of College Of Nursing Modern Medical Institute Lalpur Raipur. As a part of their academic curriculum.the students were oriented about the history, objectives, and various activities of TNAI. They gained valuable insights into the contributions of TNAI toward the development of the nursing profession in India, including continuing education programs, research initiatives, publications, and welfare activities for nurses. The students also learned about professional ethics, leadership opportunities, and career development pathways available through the association.The educational trip was highly informative and motivating. It enriched the students’ knowledge, broadened their professional outlook, and inspired them to actively participate in professional growth activities in the future.
